Is Apple’s MagSafe The Future Of Charging?

This week was very special for all the Apple fans, the company held an event on 13th October (Hi, Speed), in which the company released four new iPhones, the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The company also revealed a new smart speaker, the HomePod Mini. Talking about the iPhone, this is the first time Apple is going backwards in terms of design, but the design is no doubt an iconic one, a boxy glossy design with a flat-screen is mostly liked by everyone, and when Apple does it, it becomes more perfect and clean.
Not only Apple revealed new speaker and iPhones, but they also revealed that they will no longer provide the Charging Adapter and Earphones in the box, only an iPhone and a Charging Cable will be provided in the box, and this step was taken by the company to reduce the Carbon Emission, which was harming the environment. But the irony is they are selling them separately, which means selling the charger separately will not harm the environment, this logic is definitely unexplainable. If a person is spending a 1000 bucks on a smartphone which has a huge battery, he will also need a fast charger and last year Apple solved this problem by giving Fast Charger with the Pro models, but this time I am disappointed.
Talking about the new charging magnetic technology of the company, along with the new iPhones, Apple also introduced MagSafe, a new way of charging your new iPhone 12. iPhone 12 comes with an inbuilt magnet which connects with MagSafe and enables Fast Charging, it’s not completely wireless, but yes it seems like Apple is planning to remove the charging socket from the iPhones, which will be a great leap towards charging.
MagSafe is no doubt an amazing idea implemented by Apple, the major advantage of this technology will be, unlike wireless charging, you’ll know when you are connected to MagSafe, thanks to the magnets on the back of the phone. But this should have been included in the box, and this too will be sold separately by the company for 39$. Also, the company released new MagSafe accessories which will attach magnetically with the iPhone, like new leather wallets. Also, new cases are launched specially for the iPhone 12 lineup, which will make it easier for the MagSafe charger to connect with the phone itself. Also, the company introduce a duo MagSafe charger which will charge your iPhone as well as your Apple Watch,( the duo charger can be folded, which makes it easier to carry while travelling) not only this, even Belkin is working on a MagSafe charger which will not only charge your iPhone and Apple Watch but also your Airpods (wireless case). Many third-party companies can also take the advantage of the MagSafe technology, as there are magnets on the back of the device, which will give third party companies a chance to make more variety of products.
This technology describes only one thing, and that is the company is planning to remove the charging port from the upcoming phones. Slowly the company wants its users to live a life without wires and ports. Wireless Earphones are a hit in the market, every small company is now releasing their own Wireless Earphones.
